How to Pay off Your Scholar Loans in 7 Months

Joe Mihalic had above 90k in Harvard Small business University student mortgage credit card debt just 7 months in the past… and now he’s credit card debt cost-free. How did he do it? We have an excerpt from a movie he made detailing his tactic, and John Iadarola discusses it on TYT University.

Check out the full movie at

You can come across out a ton far more info at – in hindsight I can say that he has responded to men and women who released very similar criticisms as I have in some of the modern posts on his site. I largely concur with what he suggests. – John

And if you favored this movie, “like” it as properly! :)

  4. Someone already with a lot of money that paid off debt fast is obvious. It is surprising that he took 10 months for that even. I would never listen to his advice. Nobody should.

  5. This is what I am doing to minimize my debt. Taking every class possible at a community college before i transfer to a 4-year college. Getting financial aid as well. It's dumb to take a basic English course at a 4-year college(more expensive) if you can take it at a community college(cheaper). I do not take out a loan for more than what I need. I am also not majoring in some dumb field( the big issue with many people) that really is not in demand and that pays low. I am majoring as a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley.

  6. SO the guy in the video gave bad advice and you are talking about his video. So why the hell am I watching this video? It does not discuss how to pay off student loans faster.

  7. Damn. I live in Austin. I need to meet this guy. For some reason I feel like this story is no longer realistic in Austin TX. This city is way overpriced.

  8. If anyone is still watching in 2016, work at a restaurant. I work quick service (fast food) and my weekly grocery bill is next to nothing. It would be 0 dollars if I didn't eat some fruit for breakfast. Food, water, and shelter are the only 3 things deemed necessary to survive. Find a way to pay for these with the least amount of money and you are on a great start

  9. I have been looking for a full time teaching position for years in New York state. The ratio is 400:1. I have had to take tutoring jobs to make ends meet while supporting a child. Even though I have been working in a public position, they will not count my work towards loan forgiveness as it is not considered full time. My son sees me in my position and now does not want to attend college. I can not say I blame him. There are no guarantees even if you have a Master's degree….I wish someone would have told me that….now I do not have a full time position and a student loan payment larger than my car payment!

  11. A large portion of students graduating do the bare minimum to finish. College is about making connections and building a network. If you finish college and expect to then apply for a job, you fucked up. You took the lazy way out.

  12. 91k in 10 months, after paying $1k per month for 7 months? What kind of work did this guy do after college? To afford these numbers, his expendable income must have been over $120,000- or, grossing over $200,000.

In other words, he's an investment banker or tech millionaire. I landed engineering positions in big pharma and it took me years of living at home, not having a car, an consistently using all disposable income to pay my $72k in loans.

  13. I make $1200 a month. I have two small kids and am recently divorced. He owes nothing for my student debt even though it was a family expense and only pays $100 a month for child support. How do I pay a $967 a month student loan?
Selling kidneys will be legal some day? Then maybe I can pay this off.

  19. I'm 140,000 dollars in student loan debt. I don't have extra vehicles to sell, and I certainly don't have a six-figure job. Just a really expensive BA degree

  20. When I bought my truck (the worst purchase I've ever made) I didn't know how bad the interest payments on the loan would hit my wallet. When I finally got the loan under $5000 I put the entire amount on a "no interest on the first change" credit card and stuck that card in a drawer. As long as I didn't charge anything else to that card all my payments went directly toward the principle. I paid zero interest on that loan from that point on.

  21. Come to study in Portugal. On a public university the tuitions are lower than 1100€/year (BS + Integrated MSc) and 3500€/year. The flat rent is lower than 200€/mount. The food is also cheap (less than 2€/meal). The majority of courses can be taught in english.

  31. i have an insane amount of student loan debt and i have no skills.  i have a stem degree, which i thought was supposed to be valuable.  i likely will remain in debt for the rest of my life.  i wish i had a 100k job so that i could bite the bullet and hopefully pay off my debt in a few years, but the way it's looking is that i'm not.  i get really annoyed because i keep trying to find ways to pay it off, but instead i just find "no's".  i hate that i went to school.  i would've been much better off being a grocery store worker, or anything else which requires no education.  i hate that i have knowledge.  i used to think it made me special and that one day it would really pay off; however, boy, was i wrong.  i was a sucker for someone who was much older and cleverer than i am, who conned me based upon my silly dreams of wanting a better future.

  34. This seems like another case of rich and well off people trying to show everyone that they pulled themselves from the bootstraps to find success even though CLEARLY they were already at a better standing than most people. Like really, who has 3 vehicles?????

  37. So to pay off my student loan I should get a six figure job and sell 2 of my 3 vehicles… NO %#!* SHERLOCK. If I had any of those things I would have already paid off my loans.

How about living off rice and oatmeal, not drinking any alcohol, never going out to eat, no cable, one phone as an addition to my parents plan, selling everything that I can on Amazon and E-bay. My transportation is an old bicycle from Target, and a 1983 pickup that I recently had to replace the intake manifold gasket myself.

@#$%^&* that harvard kid. Most of us can't afford the flight to get to harvard let alone the tuition.
