Intercourse Education and learning: Previous Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)
Intercourse instruction varies commonly concerning college districts, leaving lots of teenagers without the need of detailed facts. We created a movie that addresses what some universities are too humiliated to educate.

11:28…abstinence is fairly easy with this annoying ugly loudmouth bitch.

That was the most enjoyable and unfortunately only logical sex ed video I've ever seen. I love in Tennessee, which I think is the highest in teen pregnancy, and all we're taught is 1 week of abstinence class during health class. Thanks.

3 minutes in, and I've yet to find him funny, those laughs are being cued in, right?
ReplyKaleigh Anderson March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
I was never taught the mechanics of sex. We just watched videos detailing diseases of the genitalia and all I remember from that was how funny it was that everyone around me was freaking out and nearly vomiting. Sex education sucks.

Oh hey the tape analogy that my school used during "sex ed" (fuck you Indiana and your absence bullshit)

I need information! What's the name of the woman with the awesome deep voice at the end of the video? I've seen her somewhere before. Help?

Are they really telling young girls, that they become like an old shoe or a gum!? God I didn't knew it was that bad
Replyawesomecdiperson March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
Ah yes, my sex ed was so bad that I didn't even really understand that a girl's urinary tract is separate from the hole where you put your dick until I first had sex at the age of 21. Pretty embarrassing, but nobody ever taught me any of that. Even now, I still don't fully understand how the female genitalia work.

I have to do a project on STDs for my Sex Ed class, and my teacher told me today that the abstinence-based system we have means I could not show masturbation as a valid alternative to sex, even though we both agreed that using "I Touch Myself" and a pic of Zii shlicking from Ma3 to introduce it was hilarious and the information was true. This just is not right.

Wow, it's nice to see the similarities between how they train police officers and teach sex…

It really should be the parent's job to teach about this stuff, not the school's…
ReplyAscent March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
I don't remember Sex Ed being controversial when I was a kid. Maybe I wasn't paying attention because I was a kid. But I got it in the 5th (that was mostly having to do with our maturing bodies with some sex stuff), the 8th grade and sophomore year in high school. My parents who are mildly conservative (not in politics very much but in matters of sexuality) never had a problem with it. Neither did my friends parents. This would have been 92 through 97. Was it not as big a deal at the time? Does anyone know?
ReplyBrandon McDaniel March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
I'm personally waiting until marriage to have sex, one because I'm a Christian and two because I don't want STDs and I want to wait until I'm secure in marriage to have kids, but if someone else does it outside of marriage that's their business and I'm not gonna but in on their business.
ReplyAdmirerofthestrange2 March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
Everyone who's unsure how to teach sex ed to middle/high school students should watch that scene in Freaks and Geeks with Coach Fredericks and Sam where he just sits him down and tells him everything. Honest, lighthearted, and unashamed. Infantilizing teenagers and acting like they're "too young to hear about sex" only leaves them uneducated and more likely to make the mistakes you're so scared of them making. Love this video.

North America is so fucked up. We're 100% okay with exposing our children to massive amounts of violence in cartoons and movies, but deathly afraid of teaching them anything about sex. That is so backwards. :/
ReplyWilliam Carter March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
"If some one does not want to have sex with you, do not have sex with them."
I actually got a pretty good sex education before I was 10. I asked "where do babies come from?" and my parents bought me an age appropriate encyclopedia about human sexuality and reproduction. I learned about consent WAY before high school. I was horrified by the "sex ed" I received in public school. I was like "this dude needs to read my encyclopedia" lol
ReplyJOSHG March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
Meanwhile my eleven year old sister is being taught that girls who wear short skirts and tank tops only want sex.
ReplyAvanka Indrajaya March 11, 2017 12:21 pm
The closest I've had to sex Ed was in fifth grade and it was about periods
